I don't really use the former that much as it lacks the sweetness of the C4, but I do try it occasionally as it, unlike the C4, has Side-chain input.Īnyway, I've had my eyes on a number of multi-band compressors for some time: Waves C4 Multiband Compressor (Currently at sale at $29).I currently have these two at my disposal: I find that, while harder to use in some respects, for some uses a multi-band dynamics plug-in/device can be very useful. Last time I checked there were about 27 of them, including the three native ones in Ableton Live 9, my DAW of late. I have quite a few software Compressors/Limiters.
