Just horrible, grade school mistakes.Īs far as the 'features' of WoG, they ranged from 'Would be interesting if it worked well' to 'Unnecessary and crappy'. H3 had some creatures that did not make sense in the town types they were recruited at and WoG is ten times Worse than H3 was!).Īnd then there is the 'Engrish', typographical errors, spelling and grammar, poor scenario and campaign design and so forth. The biggest problem with WoG was that all of the 'features' came off exactly like a fan-made product, ugly, clunky and even wackier than the original Heroes 3 stuff(in terms of units/creatures/upgrades etc. For starters, just because you CAN find a weird 'chicken wire and duct tape' means of adding features does not mean you SHOULD add such. I know we were all excited by the idea of a fan made full expansion which added a ton of new features and all but WoG was just very poorly done.
